The CAT6A S/FTP LSZH MPTL extension cable is compliant with MPTL (Modular Plug Terminated Link) ANSI/TIA-568.2-D. The cable is suitable for use in plenum spaces, e.g. to extend the fixed network cable of a camera or access point to a consolidation point.
This MPTL cable can be fully included in the permanent link. The link will remain fully ANSI/TIA-568.2-D compliant, unlike RJ45 couplers.
The cable has full copper 26AWG wires, 50µ gold-plated RJ-45 contacts and a dust cover. The cable has a LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) cable jacket that reduces the risk of high concentrations of toxic gases in case the cable is damaged due to fire or short circuit.
